    HEMS

    • Standard pants Hems: $28.00
    • Tailored Pants Hems: $35.00
    • Skirt Hem (Pencil/A-line Skirt, one layer): $30.00
    • Skirt Invisible Hem (Pencil/A-line skirt): $36.00
    • Additional Lining Hem (Pencil/A-line skirt): $22.50
    • Full Skirt Hem: From $45.00
    • Additional Full Skirt Lining Hem: $36.00
    • Bridal and Formal Wear Dress Hems: From $90.00 (pure silk thread available)

    Please ensure any natural fibre garments have been washed prior to fitting, as they tend to shrink after the first wash.

    PATCHES, DARNING & BUTTONS

    • Small Accessible Patch: $22.50
    • Medium Accessible Patch: $27.00
    • Large Accessible Patch: $30.00
    • Knees or Elbow Patch: $34.50 per knee/elbow
    • Darning Small Hole: $22.50
    • Additional Small Holes (in same garment): $7.50 – $15.00 each
    • Darning Large Hole (re-weave or re-knit section): From $37.50
    • Hand Sew on a Button: $7.50 + button price
    • Jeans Stud Button Replacement: $9.00 (includes button)
    • Make New Button Hole: $22.50
    • Additional Button Hole (same color): $15.00

    TAILORING

    • Take In Pants: From $60.00
    • Let Out Tailored Pants: From $60.00 (only possible with certain types of pants)
    • 2 Darts: From $22.50
    • Shorten Shoulder Straps (Simple): $22.50
    • Shorten Shoulder Straps (Complex): $45.00
    • Re-work Side Seams on Dress: From $37.50
    • Men’s suit cuffs shorten: $90-$150

     

     

    Important Notes:

    • All tailoring is quoted on inspection of the garment. There are simply too many variations to list here.
    • Almost anything can be shortened (cuffs, hems, collars, etc.), and almost all things can be lengthened a bit! Please bring your garment in so we can offer a customized solution.
    • Minimum charge for all alterations is $22.50 per order.

 

GARMENT CREATION

I offer custom made garment creation, limited only by your imagination.  Or I can also craft a close copy of your favourite clothing item. - quoted upon inspection.


*Close-Copy service means i will copy your favourite item to duplicate it, there will need to be 10% change to the design for copywriter reasons, this could mean a different colour and fibre fabric, change the shape of a pocket, different stitching, adding a patch, or something appropriate to your garment. the new garment would not include original branding or prints. broken garments can be copied.  Garments which are still for sale by the original distributor should not be copied for ethical reasons.
